Positive Behavioral and Intervention Support

What does it mean to Bryant School?

Bryant School has developed school wide expectations that can earn students' school supplies, prizes, games, privileges, and more.

The entire school staff including principals, teachers, support staff, cafeteria workers, custodians, secretaries, and security guards can reward the students for their good behavior by giving them a Tiger Paw. The Tiger Paws can be redeemed at the PBIS Store every week, giving students another opportunity to be rewarded for their behavior.

What are the school wide expectations for Bryant School?

Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe

The purpose of PBIS is to shape positive behavior and to make the school environment a welcoming and safe place for everyone. PBIS uses data driven from research and replicates success strategies from schools across the country.

  • Phone calls home for behavior problems
  • Suspensions

PBIS Increases:

  • Responsibilty
  • Overall safety in the school
  • Learning time in the classroom
