We have been successfully culturing tilapia for many years at the Aquaculture school.  Many of our systems are devoted to these fast growing, fresh water species.  We currently have many at market size, ready for harvest.  Our adults have also been breeding succesfully, filling many of our smaller systems with tilapia fry.  

Our students maintain the tilapia systems and are involved in every aspect of their care from the quality of the water to individual health of each fish.
