Central High School's Marching Band & Color Guard Parent Association hosted the competition. The co-presidents are Diana Prieto and Michael Golrick. this marked the second year that the parents have hosted MAC championship at Central, but the first time the school played host to the entire conference.

Mac Coalition of music educators formed to create a professional and educational outlet in which high school ensembles can compete. MAC's primary goal is to give high school performers and opportunity to perform in a professional atmosphere.

The conference bands, including the award winning Central High School Marching Band, have competed in local competitions since September.

Maximino Medina, Jr., one of the members of the parent group, said "we are the smallest band in the conference and we are hosting the largest even, but we have an outpouring of parent, alumini and staff volunteers. This becomes a great community effort."
