The Barnum School Garden was started after one of our 6th Grade students won an essay contest.

We started the garden in Fall 2008 and are very proud of our work.

This year we planted lots of tomatoes, green peppers, basil, cilantro, rosemary and oregano. We've also harvest cucumbers and apples.

We're looking forward to seeing all the beautiful mum flower during the fall, just like they did last year.

We used the tomatoes that we picked to practice our sorting and counting skills.
