Bassick High School Uniform Policy

Uniforms must be worn every school day!

The uniform consists of :

Pants - Tan or Black dress or trouser-style pants must be worn with a belt at the waist. Jeans, leggings, jeggings, sweats and knit or form-fitting pants are prohibited.

Skirts and Skorts- Tan or black skirts must be fingertip length or longer. Jean skirts are prohibited.

Shorts - Tan or black fingertip length or longer dress or trouser-style shorts must be worn with a belt at the waist from April I through November 1. Jean, athletic, knit or form-fitting shorts are prohibited.

Shirts - White and dark green plain collared polo shirt, dress shirt, long or short sleeved. Students who have earned 170 credits or more may wear plain black collared polo-style shirts or dress shirts with long or short sleeves.Shirts may not be decorated or patterned except for an approved school logo.

School Identification Card- School ID card must be worn around the neck on a color-coded lanyard. ID must be visible at all times.

Sweatshirts or Sweaters- Solid gray, white, black or dark green pullover or zippered sweatshirts and sweaters are appropriate in cold weather. Sweatshirts and sweaters muse not have hoods, decorations, or patterns. Bassick hoodies will be permitted on designated days.

Head coverings are not permitted. These include: Baseball caps, knit hats, doo rags, kerchiefs, ear flaps, hoods, scarves*
