It was GREAT seeing you all today! Since today was a one session day, we didn't have enough time to catch up completely, but we will! Everyone looks so happy to be here as am I! Please show your parents the Students Requirements and Expectations form I gave you today. Here are some additional reminders...
1. Purchase your Planners ($6) and your Parent Communication Folders ($1) as soon as possible.
2. Bring back the Student Emergency, Internet Permission Use, and Ten For Me forms as soon as they are completed and signed.
3. Next Friday, September 5th is the last day you can hand in your Reading summer packet. This will count as your first Literacy test grade.

Summer Reading Project
Directions: Read two books of your choosing (as long as they are your age and maturity level). Complete one mini-project for each book. See the choices listed below. Both mini-projects will count towards your first Literacy test grade. Spelling, Grammar, Creativity, and Neatness count!!! Happy Reading!! :D

INDEPENDENT READING PROJECT
Get a jump start towards your Independent Reading Project where you are to read 16 different genres and complete a Story Frame for each genre. The more you read over the summer, the faster you will complete this project. Final deadline to complete this project is Friday, June 5, 2015.
